What does A.I. think of Ruta’s Closet?

In the upcoming Ruta’s Closet Podcast series we explore if there is a role for A.I. in increasing Holocaust awareness.

In preparation we took part in a Google-led experiment and uploaded a 870-word narrative synopsis.

Listen here to what came back within half an hour! – It was a mock radio show called Deep Dive, featuring young sounding male and female hosts. They talk about the book content conversationally and its relevance to today.

There are some mispronounced names and the wrong ghetto name but that could have been avoided using phonetically spelled names. The uploaded synopsis merely described the story but A.I. inserted comments as to why the story was important today.

The responses from those the recording was shared with was varied. Some retired broadcast friends thought it was a real show. All thought it was a real show, some thought it was bit too chatty given the subject matter and all were shocked when they were told it was a product of A.I.

It was also played for a dozen folks with an age range from early 20s to late 60s. The older listeners shared the view of some of the broadcasters about the chatty delivery. However, all of those in their early 20s and 30s thought it was interesting and informative.
