Only three of these children survived the Holocaust

Shavl Ghetto – Friday, November 5th, 1943.
Lest we forget, on this day, in 1943, Tamara Kron, was one of an estimated 1,000 children and seniors removed from the Shavl Ghetto in a Nazi Kinderaktion and transported to their deaths in Auschwitz.
Tamara was the younger sister of the late Ruth (Ruta) Kron Sigal, who was rescued and survived as a Hidden Child. The family’s story as told in Ruta’s Closet, the third edition of which is now available globally along with an audiobook version.
In these difficult times, what happened back then needs to be heard and read. – Never again?
